The high location and the particularly terroir-orientated climate offer optimal conditions for the Sauvignon Blanc grape variety and promote the development of fresh, fruity aromas, which are wonderfully accentuated in this wine.

The grapes for the Weinhof Ulrich St. Anna Sauvignon Blanc Vulkanland Steiermark DAC 2023 are harvested by hand with the utmost care and matured in stainless steel tanks after gentle fermentation. The wine is a typical quality wine and is characterised by its freshness, spiciness and complexity. Tasting Note

In the glass, the St. Anna Sauvignon Blanc presents itself in a clear, light yellow colour with green reflections. The nose reveals typical aromas of boxwood and gooseberries, accompanied by a light herbal note. On the palate, the wine is flavoursome and powerful, with a wonderful balance between fruit and minerality. The freshness typical of Sauvignon Blanc remains in the foreground, while the finish is long and pleasant, with a fine spiciness that rounds off the flavour experience.

Weinhof Ulrich St. Anna Sauvignon Blanc Vulkanland Steiermark DAC 2023 is a great wine to savour and goes particularly well with dishes that are accompanied by spicy, creamy sauces. It harmonises perfectly with poultry in a mustard or herb sauce, fish dishes in creamy sauces or a risotto with goat's cheese.
