For this premium Colombian rum, Dictador uses only virgin sugar cane honey instead of molasses. This rare base provides natural sweetness and a particularly elegant aroma. Distillation takes place in both pot stills and column stills, allowing strength and finesse to blend perfectly. The distillates are then aged on Colombia’s Caribbean coast, where the maritime climate further refines the rum. Master Blender Hernán Parra, a third-generation member of the renowned Parra family, selects only the finest rums from American oak casks filled between 1999 and 2019. The result is an exceptionally complex blend with notes of tropical fruit, caramel, honey and delicate spices, which impressively reflects the Dictador house’s tradition spanning over a century.
