The Torres De Casta Rosado del Mediterráneo 2024 is a rosé wine full of character from the renowned wine region of Catalonia, vinified with the utmost precision by the traditional Miguel Torres bodega. The cuvée is made from the typical Spanish grape varieties Cariñena and Garnacha, which can develop their full aromatic maturity in the region's Mediterranean climate. The vines are deeply rooted in limestone-rich soil, which gives the wine its elegant minerality and multi-layered structure.

After the selective harvest, the grapes are brought directly to the winery, carefully sorted and gently pressed. Temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks preserves the fresh fruit and ensures clarity of flavour. The wine is then aged for several weeks on the fine lees, which gives it additional volume and a fine, creamy texture. The result is a modern interpretation of a Mediterranean rosé with personality and finesse - ideal for moments of pleasure.

Tasting Note

The De Casta Rosado has a bright strawberry-pink colour in the glass. On the nose, it seduces with intense aromas of apple, Nashi pear, ripe pear and quince, complemented by a hint of red berries and floral notes. On the palate, the wine is dry, silky yet lively, with crisp fruit acidity and a balanced, multi-layered mouthfeel. The fruit is always present, but remains finely and elegantly integrated. The finish is long, fresh and mineral, with hints of pear, quince and chalky nuances.
