The Inführ Sekt Cabinet Grüner Veltliner & Welschriesling is a multi-award-winning classic from the house of Inführ and epitomises the finest Austrian sparkling wine. This cuvée combines two of the country's iconic white wine varieties: Grüner Veltliner, known for its sparkling style and delicate peppery spiciness, and Welschriesling, which impresses with its fine floral notes and fruity freshness. The grapes come from selected vineyards around Poysdorf in the Weinviertel region - one of the most important regions for high-quality sparkling base wines.

The composition of these two grape varieties gives the sparkling wine its unmistakable elegance and expressiveness. Produced using the Charmat method (tank fermentation), the sparkling wine retains its clear style and animating liveliness. With 12.5% alcohol by volume and an extra-dry profile, the sparkling wine impresses with its racy structure, fine mousseux and high digestibility. Inführ combines experience, care and the right amount of craftsmanship to guarantee a top-quality product year after year that is appreciated both nationally and internationally.

Tasting Note

The Cabinet sparkling wine is light straw yellow in colour with greenish reflections and a fine, persistent perlage. The nose is characterised by fresh apple and citrus notes, accompanied by floral hints and the typical, subtle peppery spiciness of Grüner Veltliner. On the palate, it is dry, lively and elegant with a good balance of fruit, freshness and delicate acidity. The mousseux is finely woven, the finish long and animating.

This sparkling wine is a delight both on its own as an aperitif and as a versatile accompaniment to food. It is an excellent accompaniment to seafood starters, crisp salads, fish dishes, white meat and fine vegetable variations. It also shows its strengths with fruity desserts such as sorbets or tarte tatin. It is also ideal for sophisticated cocktail creations such as Kir Royal or Sekt Orange.
