The distillery is known for its characterful rye distillates and its unmistakable Nordic flair. With the Sauna Stories series, Kyrö celebrates the Finnish tradition of saunas and combines it with the art of whisky making - earthy, warm and authentic.


This special whisky is based on 100% Finnish wholemeal rye, which gives the distillate its typical spicy character. A combination of New American Oak Casks and Apricot Brandy Casks were used for the maturation. These casks give the whisky both depth and fruity accents, which harmonise perfectly with the strong rye profile. The result is an intense, full-bodied whisky with a fascinating interplay of warmth, spices and fruit. A total of just 3,596 bottles of this limited edition bottling were produced, making it a highly sought-after collector's item.
