The rum is classically distilled using the pot still method, whereby it is first matured in former bourbon barrels. This already gives it a robust and balanced base of sweet caramel notes and wood flavours. Tasting Note

Colour: Dark amber with reddish reflections.

Nose: Aromas of dried fruit, prunes, caramel, combined with notes of port and a hint of spice.

Flavour: Full-bodied and complex with dark berries, vanilla, roasted notes and a fine sherry sweetness.

Finish: Langs, soft and round with an elegant port cask finish and a gentle oak spice.
