Description
Description
The Tschermonegg winery is a family business that has been producing wine on the South Styrian Wine Route for more than 120 years. The family owns 30 hectares of vineyards, which are divided into three different Lager. These include Oberglanzberg, Lubenkogel and Pößnitzberg.
Tschermonegg Traminer Trio Südsteiermark DAC is a fascinating white wine made from a 100% cuvée of Traminer grape varieties - Gewürztraminer, Roter Traminer and Gelber Traminer. These grape varieties combine their unique flavours and characters to create a particularly complex and aromatic wine. The wine is cultivated on the steep slopes of southern Styria, where the vines find optimal conditions to grow. The soil consists of fossilised limestone marl (Opok), and the topsoil is sandy to loamy and particularly humus-rich. With a slope inclination of over 32%, the vines benefit from excellent exposure and an outstanding microclimate.
Tschermonegg Traminer Trio is vinified in stainless steel tanks with temperature-controlled fermentation to preserve the fresh flavours of the Traminer grapes. After maturation, the wine is bottled in bottles with a practical screw cap to preserve the freshness and quality of the wine until 2031.
Awards:
- 93 points A la Carte

Tasting Note
Bright golden yellow in the glass. An intense bouquet of cloves, tropical fruit and spices unfolds on the nose, perfectly emphasising the different Traminer varieties. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and aromatic, with a pleasant balance between fruity notes and the spicy complexity of Gewürztraminer. Long and persistent on the finish.
Acidity: 5.5 g/l
Residual sugar: 3 g/l
Drinking temperature: 10-12 °C
This wine is ideal with Asian cuisine, spicy dishes or cheese platters with strong cheeses such as Roquefort or goat's cheese. Tschermonegg is also a perfect accompaniment to grilled chicken, fish dishes or starters.
