The Regele Zweigelt Rosé 2024 is a wonderfully fruity and refreshing rosé wine from Styria, one of Austria's most exciting and dynamic wine regions. The Regele winery is located in Leibnitz in southern Styria, not far from the Slovenian border. This region is characterised by a warm, Pannonian climate with cool nights and diverse soils that give the wines finesse, freshness and expression.

Made from 100% Zweigelt, the country's most important red grape variety, this rosé perfectly emphasises the lively fruit and lightness of the variety. The grapes are harvested early to preserve their natural acidity and fermented in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature after a short maceration period. The 2024 vintage impresses with its clear aromas, delicate fruit flavours and low alcohol content of just 11% vol., making the wine particularly light and easy to drink - ideal for the warmer months or as a stylish accompaniment to food.

Tasting Note

In the glass, the Regele Zweigelt Rosé is a delicate salmon pink colour with shiny reflections. The nose reveals a fragrant aroma of fresh strawberries, raspberries and some redcurrant, underlaid with floral notes. On the palate, the wine is fresh, juicy and straightforward, with animating acidity, subtle spiciness and a fine, fruity finish.

Ideal as an aperitif, with summer cuisine, Asian-inspired dishes, grilled fish, vegetarian dishes or simply as an uncomplicated pleasure on the terrace. Also an excellent choice with antipasti, goat's cheese or cold platters. A versatile rosé that harmoniously combines style and drinking pleasure.
