Tasting Note

Colour: Dark copper with a red-golden shimmer.

Nose: Dried fruit, leather, cloves, sultanas and a subtle hint of smoke.

Flavour: Full-bodied and powerful with notes of peat smoke, dark chocolate, caramel, roasted nuts and dried figs.

Finish: Langs and warming with lingering sherry sweetness, smoky oak and spicy notes.

Ideal neat or with a few drops of water in a nosing glass. Perfect with grilled meat, smoked cheese or dark chocolate with chilli. Also an excellent accompaniment to a cigar with earthy spice. A complex Highland malt for lovers of elegant smokiness and full-bodied sherry depth.
