This characterful Syrah from Serbia is produced by Goran Djokovic, the uncle of world-famous tennis player Novak Djokovic. The internationally recognised name draws attention to the dynamically growing Serbian wine scene, while the focus is on uncompromising quality work.


The vineyards benefit from hilly locations, diverse microclimates and mixed soil structures, which have been considered ideal for viticulture since Roman times. With an annual production of around 40,000 bottles, the winery consistently follows the principle of quality over quantity. Tasting Note

The Djokovic Syrah presents itself in the glass in a deep ruby red colour with a dark core. The nose reveals ripe dark berries, spicy notes and subtle hints of pepper. On the palate, the wine is powerfully structured and balanced with present fruit and harmonious tannins. The finish is intensely spicy and long-lasting.

The Djokovic Syrah from Šumadija is an ideal accompaniment to grilled beef, lamb chops, game dishes or hearty stews.
