Turntable Track 7 - Born to Be Wild is an exceptional limited edition from the creative Scottish brand Turntable Spirits, which sets new standards in modern blending with every release. Inspired by the legendary song "Born to Be Wild" by Steppenwolf (1968), this whisky combines musical passion with precision craftsmanship. The bottling is part of the 13th edition of Turntable and is in line with the celebrated core blends Unplugged, Bittersweet Symphony, Smokin' Riff and Paradise Funk - all expressions of a new, innovative whisky age.


The blended Scotch whisky combines single malts and grain whiskies from some of Scotland's most exciting distilleries. The blend contains 37% peated Ardnamurchan single malt, matured in a sherry butt, 16% Lochlea, 15% Nc'Nean, 18% peated Raasay, matured in Chinkapin oak casks, and 14% grain whisky from the closed Port Dundas Distillery, aged in a refill bourbon cask. Each component contributes to the characteristic depth of this whisky: maritime-smoky notes meet fruity sweetness, spicy warmth and creamy texture.


Bottled at a powerful 53% vol., unchill-filtered and natural in colour, this blend presents a complex, modern profile that combines traditional craftsmanship and creative energy.

Tasting Note

Colour: Warm amber with golden reflections.

Nose: Smoky-sweet with notes of sea salt, teriyaki, bacon, caramel and sherry spice.

Taste: Full-bodied and balanced with flavours of peat smoke, spices, cream, peach and malt biscuits.

Finish: Langs, soft and warming with sweet smoke, oak spice and fine fruit.
