Planteray Pineapple Artisanal Infusion Stiggins' Fancy is a high-quality rum-based spirit drink (spiced rum) that combines the Caribbean art of distillation with artisanal refinement. With an alcohol content of 40% by volume and its natural fruitiness, it is one of Planteray's most popular creations.


Inspired by the character of Reverend Stiggins from Charles Dickens' "Pickwick Papers", who was known for his secret fondness for pineapple rum, this exceptional drop was created by Alexandre Gabriel as a modern homage. To make it, the peel of the aromatic Victoria pineapple is macerated in Planteray 3 Stars rum and then redistilled, while the flesh is soaked in Original Dark Rum. Both components are then skilfully married - the result is a naturally fruity spiced rum with depth and tropical elegance.


The base is formed by selected rums from Barbados, Jamaica and Trinidad, which provide complexity, flavour and balance. The result is a perfectly balanced spirit that is considered a "bartender's favourite" worldwide.

Tasting Note

Colour: Golden amber with a slight copper sheen.

Nose: Expressive and exotic with notes of fresh pineapple, vanilla, banana, honey and warm caramel.

Flavour: Full-bodied, fruity and round with intense aromas of ripe pineapple, vanilla, brown sugar, spices and a hint of wood.

Finish: Langs, harmonious and slightly spicy with sweet hints of caramel, tropical fruit and a fine rum character.
