It is produced using the Méthode Charmat, in which the second fermentation takes place in pressurised tanks. This process preserves the typical fruit flavours of the grapes used and gives the sparkling wine its fine, lively perlage. Tasting Note

In the glass, the Henkell Kardinal is a deep ruby red colour with a fine, even perlage. Seductive aromas of cherries, red berries and plums unfold on the nose, accompanied by fine notes of vanilla and delicate spice. On the palate, it is round, fruity and balanced, with a harmonious combination of berry sweetness, fine acidity and creamy mousse. The finish is soft, elegant and long-lasting, characterised by ripe fruit flavours and a fine, velvety texture.
