As the name suggests, this whisky has matured in a combination of American oak sherry casks, European oak sherry casks and bourbon casks. This combination gives it its multi-layered flavour: sweet vanilla notes from American oak, spicy depth from European oak and an elegant fruitiness from the former bourbon maturation. At 45% vol., non-chill-filtered and in its natural colour, this single malt shows itself in its unadulterated form - an example of the precise cask art and balance that characterises The Glenturret.

Tasting Note

Colour: Warm amber with golden reflections.

Nose: Soft aromas of vanilla, toffee, ripe apples and honey, accompanied by sherry sweetness and gentle wood notes.

Flavour: Round, elegant and creamy with notes of caramel, spices, dried fruit, malt and subtle oak.

Finish: Langs, smooth and balanced with sweet and spicy accents and a hint of nuttiness.
