The Eiteljörg Gelber Muskateller Steiermark with 13% vol. in a 0.75 litre bottle is a classic representative of the Styrian Muskateller style and impressively demonstrates why this grape variety occupies such a special position in Styria. The wine comes from selected Styrian vineyards, whose cool climate and mineral soils give Muskateller its aromatic clarity, fragrant elegance and lively freshness.


The vintage is dry, precise and typically varietal: a Muskateller that is both fragrant and structured. The combination of herbal spice, elderflower and the characteristic Muscat bouquet makes this wine a fresh and fruity experience with animating acidity and clear grape flavours. Careful vinification results in a white wine that remains both aromatic and elegant and clearly shows the Styrian signature - lively, straightforward and with Langs freshness.

Tasting Note

The wine has a light straw yellow colour in the glass. Intense aromas of elderflower, herbal spice and a typical muscat bouquet unfold on the nose, accompanied by fresh, grapey nuances. On the palate, the Eiteljörg Gelber Muskateller is fresh, clear and aromatic, characterised by fruity acidity, fine spiciness and a lively, harmonious profile. The finish is elegant, fragrant and long-lasting, characterised by floral finesse and fresh grapeiness.

The wine harmonises excellently with fresh cheese, sorbets, light starters, fresh salads and mild Asian dishes. It also goes well with goat's cheese, summer dishes and flavoursome but not too strong dishes. Served at 8-10 °C, Muscat shows its full flavour and impresses with its fragrant, lively and long-lasting freshness.
