The Landauer Gisperg Black Betty White 2024, with an alcohol content of 12.5% vol., in a 0.75litre bottle is an expressive, modern white wine cuvée from the Thermenregion in Lower Austria, made from the PIWI varieties Muscaris and Souvignier Gris. Whilst Muscaris lends the wine its aromatic vibrancy and freshness, Souvignier Gris provides structure, texture and an elegant body. The vines grow on stony, limestone-rich gravel soils around Tattendorf, whose minerality shapes the clear and precise style of this cuvée.


Vinification is carried out according to strictly quality-oriented criteria: low yields, optimal ripeness, selective hand-harvesting, careful berry selection and gentle ageing in stainless-steel tanks to fully preserve the freshness and varietal aromas of the PIWI grape varieties. The 2024 vintage is particularly fruit-driven, dense and spirited, characterised by exotic aromas and a lively structure. The estate’s modern style combines intensity with balance, creating a characterful white wine with a long-lasting presence – charming, powerful and full of expression.

Tasting Note

In the glass, the Black Betty White appears light and clear. On the nose, it reveals intense fruity notes, underpinned by exotic undertones and floral accents. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, robust and spirited, with a dense texture, elegant freshness and a harmonious balance. The finish is aromatic, round and long-lasting, characterised by a richness of fruit and subtle spice.

The Black Betty White 2024 pairs superbly with Asian dishes, aromatic fish dishes, grilled vegetables, summer cuisine, salads with exotic ingredients and spicy vegetarian dishes.
