The Landauer Gisperg Black Betty White 2024 with 12.5% vol. in a 0.75-litre bottle is an expressive, modern white wine cuvée from the Thermenregion in Lower Austria, made from the PIWI varieties Muscaris and Souvignier Gris. While Muscaris gives the wine its aromatic vigour and freshness, Souvignier Gris provides structure, texture and an elegant body. The vines grow on barren, limestone-rich gravel soils around Tattendorf, whose minerality characterises the clear and precise style of this cuvée.


Vinification is carried out according to strict quality-oriented criteria: low yields, optimal ripeness, selective hand-picking, careful berry selection and gentle ageing in steel tanks to fully preserve the freshness and varietal aromas of the PIWI grape varieties. The 2024 vintage is particularly fruity, dense and spirited, characterised by exotic aromas and a lively structure. The winery's modern signature combines intensity with balance and creates a characterful white wine with a long-lasting presence - charming, powerful and full of expression.

Tasting Note

The Black Betty White is bright and clear in the glass. The nose reveals intense fruity notes, carried by exotic nuances and floral accents. On the palate, the wine is plump, powerful and spirited, with a dense texture, elegant freshness and harmonious play. The finish is aromatic, round and long-lasting, characterised by fruit fullness and fine spice.
