Glendalough Wild Rose Gin is a delicately nuanced yet aromatically complex bottling that carries a very personal story. Originally created in honour of Rose, the late mother of Head Distiller Ciaran "Rowdy" Rooney, this gin was first served at his brother's wedding. To keep her memory alive, the distillery used carefully tended roses from its own garden, which are vapour distilled together with wild roses and botanicals from the Berger surrounding the distillery in a particularly gentle process. The result is an intensely floral, elegant gin. After distillation, it is additionally macerated with rose petals, which both deepens the flavour and brings out the natural, pale pink colour.


This gin embodies the unmistakable signature of Ireland's Glendalough Distillery, which is known for its closeness to nature and meticulous craftsmanship. The combination of cultivated roses, wild botanicals and a gentle citrus structure gives Wild Rose Gin an expressive yet balanced profile. At 37.5% vol., it is mild, aromatically open and ideal for fresh, floral drinks. Tasting Note

Colour: Delicate rosé.

Nose: Bright citrus notes of lemon and blood orange, gentle juniper, intense floral aromas of fresh roses.

Flavour: Clear rose petals, light berries, hints of Turkish delight, delicate citrus freshness and light nectar sweetness.

Finish: Langs, floral flavours with pink pepper and subtle earthy spice notes.
