Bellamy's Reserve Rum OLOROSO CASK FINISH is a carefully composed bottling from the independent bottler Bellamy's Reserve and combines the characteristic styles of two renowned rum origins. This blend from Barbados and Jamaica is based on classic molasses rum distilled in both pot stills and column stills. The basic maturation took place for five years in tropical ex-bourbon barrels, building up structure, depth and balance. The rum was then given a 12 to 18-month finish in ex-Oloroso sherry casks, which was used specifically to round off and refine the rum.


With a total age of six years, 43% alcohol by volume and no added sugar, this rum is transparent, honest and clearly defined. The Oloroso finish gives the blend additional complexity and an elegant, fruity sherry sweetness without masking the independence of the Caribbean rum styles. Bellamy's Reserve stands for a Purist approach that emphasises cask work and distillate.
