The Famille Perrin Châteauneuf-du-Pape Les Sinards 2023 is an expressive yet balanced Châteauneuf-du-Pape from the southern Rhône Valley and embodies the signature style of the Famille Perrin in a particularly accessible form. The cuvée is predominantly based on Grenache, supplemented by Syrah and Mourvèdre, and reflects the typical power, flavour and depth of the appellation. With an alcohol content of 14.5%, the 2023 vintage is concentrated, warm and harmoniously structured. The grapes come from the estate's younger plots, making the wine accessible earlier without losing any of its complexity.

The wine is matured carefully, partly in large oak barrels and partly in stainless steel tanks, in order to optimise the fruit, flavour and balance. Les Sinards 2023 is already a joy to drink in its youth, but has enough substance for further development. It stands for a classic but not overloaded style that clearly recognises the origin of Châteauneuf-du-Pape and is versatile at the same time.

Tasting Note

Dense ruby red in the glass. Ripe red and dark fruit on the nose, accompanied by Mediterranean herbs, fine spices and subtle peppery notes. Full-bodied and balanced on the palate with juicy fruit, well-integrated tannins and harmonious acidity. The finish is long, spicy and elegant.

The Famille Perrin Châteauneuf-du-Pape Les Sinards 2023 is an excellent accompaniment to lamb, beef, game dishes or savoury stews from the Mediterranean cuisine. It is also very harmonious with grilled meat, spicy ragouts or mature hard cheese. This Châteauneuf-du-Pape is also a powerful soloist for enjoyable evenings when a structured, aromatically dense red wine with a southern French character is required.
