The Planteray Barbados X.O. is a harmonious blend of various Barbados rums aged for at least 13 years. The individual distillates are first matured in former bourbon barrels in the Caribbean, where they develop their pleasant sweetness and smooth structure. They are then blended at Cognac Ferrand in France before the rum undergoes a second ageing phase in small old Cognac barrels made from French oak. This double maturation ensures exceptional depth, creamy softness and elegant barrel notes. With an alcohol content of 40%, this XO rum is harmonious, full-bodied and impressively smooth.

Colour: Deep mahogany with golden amber reflections.

Nose: Intense aroma of creamy caramel toffee, fine roasted flavours and fruity notes of ripe banana and candied orange.
