Tasting Note

The glass reveals a deep ruby red colour with dark, slightly violet reflections, the nose reveals intense aromas of ripe cherries, plums and dark wild berries accompanied by spicy notes and a hint of Mediterranean herbs, on the palate the wine is powerful and velvety with dense fruit, soft tannins and a harmonious structure, the finish is full-bodied, round and long-lasting.

The Tagaro Muso Rosso Primitivo di Manduria is an excellent accompaniment to grilled meat, beef steaks, game dishes or hearty pasta dishes with tomato sauces. This Primitivo di Manduria DOP from Apulia also harmonises very well with braised lamb, Mediterranean meat dishes or mature hard cheese.
