The Porta Leone Prosecco Treviso Extra Dry DOC 11% vol. in a 0.75 litre bottle is a fresh and elegantly sparkling Prosecco from Italy that impresses with its harmonious fruitiness, fine perlage and classic extra dry style. Produced in the renowned Prosecco region of Treviso, this high-quality Italian sparkling wine is made from the 100% Glera grape variety, which is responsible for the typical freshness, floral aroma and lively elegance of classic Prosecco wines. The Glera grapes are harvested in September and come from vineyards with medium-heavy soils at an altitude of around 40 metres.


Porta Leone Prosecco Treviso Extra Dry DOC is produced using the traditional Charmat method. After gentle pressing and static must clarification, temperature-controlled fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks. The second fermentation takes place in pressurised tanks with selected yeasts and ensures the fine and persistent perlage of this Prosecco DOC from Veneto. With a residual sugar content of around 15 g/l, the extra dry style is pleasantly fruity, balanced and particularly accessible. At 11% vol., this Italian Prosecco impresses with its lively freshness, elegant structure and animating drinking flow. The combination of fine fruit, creamy mousseux and harmonious freshness makes this Prosecco Extra Dry a versatile companion for numerous moments of enjoyment.

Tasting Note

Porta Leone Prosecco Treviso Extra Dry DOC has a pale straw yellow colour with greenish reflections and a fine, persistent perlage. The nose reveals intense aromas of golden apple, Williams pear, white flowers and subtle citrus notes, accompanied by nuances of acacia honey and stone fruit. On the palate, the Prosecco made from 100% Glera is fresh, harmonious and lively, with a fine fruity sweetness, creamy mousse and elegant flow. The finish is juicy, lemony and pleasantly long-lasting.
