The Signatory Vintage 100 Proof Edition CRAIGELLACHIE 15 Years Old Single Malt #81 is a characterful Speyside single malt Scotch whisky that combines Craigellachie’s distinctive distillery style with the intense aromas of a first-fill Pedro Ximénez sherry cask. Distilled in 2011 and bottled in 2026 by the independent bottler Signatory Vintage, this release features a robust 57.1% ABV (100 Proof) as part of the popular 100 Proof Edition. The 0.7 l bottle is aimed at connoisseurs of intense cask maturations and authentic single malts.


Following its maturation, this Craigellachie single malt is finished in first-fill Pedro Ximénez sherry butts, blending the distillate’s characteristic spiciness with the opulent influences of sweet PX sherry casks. The result is a multi-layered whisky with intense notes of dark dried fruit, chocolate and subtle oak spice, which complement the robust, slightly oily distillery character superbly. Like all bottlings in the Signatory Vintage 100 Proof Edition, this whisky is bottled without chill filtration (un-chillfiltered) and with no added colouring (no added colour). This preserves the whisky’s natural colour and full spectrum of aromas.

Tasting Note

Colour: Dark amber with mahogany-coloured highlights.

Nose: Rich aromas of raisins, dates, figs, dark chocolate, honey, vanilla and subtle oak spice.

Palate: Full-bodied with intense PX sherry notes, dried fruit, cocoa, caramel, spicy oak, toasted nuts and the characteristic oily Craigellachie style.

Finish: Long-lasting with dark chocolate, dried fruit, subtle oak spice and lingering sherry sweetness.
