Following a two-year hiatus in production, this bottling was launched in early 2019, replacing the previous 10-year-old Tobermory. The distillery, which has been in operation since 1798, is one of Scotland’s oldest licensed distilleries and is renowned for its characterful island whiskies. The whisky is matured for 12 years in first-fill American white oak casks, which lend it additional depth and complexity.
