It is produced primarily from sugar cane honey, which gives the rum its characteristic depth and natural sweetness. Distillation takes place predominantly in traditional copper pot stills, supplemented by column and batch kettle distillates, resulting in a particularly complex and balanced flavour profile. The rum is then aged for up to 12 years in carefully selected oak casks, where it develops its exceptional smoothness and complexity.
