With its greenish colour and complex herbal composition, this absinthe is a real treat for lovers of spirits with strong flavours. It is made according to traditional recipes and is rooted in the production of high-quality herbs and Werder as well as careful distillation.

Grüne Fee uses only 100% natural herbs, including wormwood, aniseed and fennel, which are responsible for the typical bitter flavour of absinthe. In addition, herbal flavours such as coriander, cinnamon and angelica are added to intensify and refine the taste experience. This blend of herbs gives the absinthe a balanced complexity that can be enjoyed neat or in the traditional absinthe preparation with sugar and water.

Tasting Note

Colour: Bright green.

Nose: Intense, herbal with clear notes of vermouth, aniseed and fennel as well as a hint of cinnamon and coriander.

Flavour: Bitter and spicy with a strong wormwood note, followed by fennel, aniseed and a light herbal freshness.

Finish: Langs, bitter with a harmonious blend of spices and herbs.

Grüne Fee Absinthe is ideal for traditional absinthe preparation, where water and sugar are added to mellow the flavour and experience the "louche" reaction. It can also be used in cocktails such as an Absinthe Martini or Death in the Afternoon.
