Hödl Hof Original HIMBEERE Geist 38% Vol. is a fine raspberry spirit from the renowned Hödl Hof distillery in Styria, situated between orchards and vineyards. The distillery is known for its long-standing tradition of producing high-quality brandies and spirits. With an alcohol content of 38% vol., this raspberry spirit offers a strong but balanced fruitiness that is excellent both neat and in cocktails.
The raspberries used for this spirit come from the Stelzer family in Stubenberg am See and are harvested by hand with great care. Only the ripest and most flavoursome berries are selected and brought to Hödl Hof immediately after harvesting. There they are immediately coated with neutral wheat alcohol and then processed in a careful, temperature-controlled fermentation process. Double distillation, in which only the high-proof core of the distillate is extracted, gives the spirit its clear, intense flavours.
The raspberry spirit is then matured in wood, glass or stainless steel, resulting in a smooth and aromatic end product that perfectly reflects the pure flavours of the raspberries.

Nose: Fresh, clear raspberry aromas with a hint of sweetness and floral notes.
Flavour: Intensely fruity with a clear raspberry note, accompanied by a pleasant freshness and a slightly sweet nuance.
Finish: Langs and elegant, with a fruity aftertaste that allows the natural flavours of the raspberries to linger on the palate for a long time.
Hödl Hof Original HIMBEERE Geist is ideal as a digestif and can be enjoyed neat or on ice to experience the aromatic freshness of raspberries. This spirit goes particularly well with desserts such as raspberry sorbet, fresh berry tarts or fine chocolates and dark chocolate, which complement the fruity flavours wonderfully.
