The Demerara distillery in Guyana on the tropical north coast of South America has been processing sugar cane since 1670. The premium brand EL DORADO has become synonymous with high-quality rum worldwide. El Dorado's blended rums are blended from different vintages or batches and from different stills. A combination of Enmore and Diamond Coffey stills, the Port Mourant Double Wooden Pot Still and the Versailles Single Wooden Pot Still. A 15-year maturation in selected oak barrels gives this blend its spicy and fruity character. The 15-year-old offered here has been honoured as the "Best Rum in the World" for the fourth time in a row! First-class quality and finesse thanks to the maturation period in old oak barrels.

Tasting Note

Nose: Spicy, dark chocolate, candied oranges, almonds, notes of pepper, vanilla.

Flavour: Intense, balanced, grilled tropical fruit, notes of oak, spices.

Finish: Langs, soft.
