Made from 100% blue Weber agave, this añejo tequila is produced in Patrón's state-of-the-art distilleries in Jalisco, Mexico, under strict quality controls. Only particularly ripe agaves are used for the Gran Patrón Burdeos, which are cooked and fermented in the traditional way and then distilled twice. After distillation, the tequila matures in American and French oak barrels before being transferred to used Bordeaux wine barrels for a special finish.

Colour: Deep mahogany with ruby reflections.

Nose: Complex aromas of ripe agave, dark berries, vanilla, oak and roasted flavours.

Flavour: Full-bodied with notes of caramel, dried fruit, spices and hints of red wine.

Finish: Langs, elegant, with finely integrated oak and fruity warmth.
