Only high-quality distillates made from fresh sugar cane juice are used for Ron Zacapa Edición Negra 23, which are matured in the traditional Solera process at an altitude of around 2300 metres in Guatemala. It is matured in double-burnt oak barrels, resulting in intense roasted flavours, elegant smokiness and exceptional complexity. The characteristic hand-woven straw band, made by Mayan descendants, symbolises the unity of time and space and was once reserved for the nobility. With a strong 43% alcohol content, this Guatemalan premium rum is particularly full-bodied, smooth and harmonious.
