The brandy is made from pure Golden Delicious apples, which are prised for their balanced sweetness and fine acidity. After distillation, the brandy matures for at least three years in oak barrels, where it develops its unmistakable aromatic complexity and natural golden colour. The barrel ageing brings out harmonious vanilla and caramel notes, which combine perfectly with the clear apple character and give the brandy a gentle woody note and a softly structured finish.
