This Highland single malt first matured for 18 years in refilled and reconditioned bourbon oak casks before being given a 15-month finish in Cabernet Sauvignon oak casks from the renowned Napa Valley. These premium wine casks give the whisky additional depth, an elegant fruity spiciness and a multi-layered interplay of aromas, which intensively emphasize the natural style of Aberfeldy.
