Deanston VIRGIN OAK Highland Single Malt is created from a blend of young Highland whiskies that are matured in oak casks. Deanston's whisky creation team selects the finest American untreated oak casks in which Deanston matures for 9-12 months. The barrels for the Virgin Oak are sourced from Kelvin Cooperage, a Glasgow-based cooperage in Kentucky, and are toasted and heavily charred before being delivered to the Deanston Distillery. The whisky is neither chill-filtered nor coloured.

Nose: Citrus fruits, honey, barley, malt sugar, notes of apples and nutmeg, hint of smoke.

Finish: Langs, spicy, oak, malt.
