Tekirdag Rakisi No. 10 is a premium raki made with passion and care in the traditional Turkish provincial capital of Tekirdag. This idyllic town is located not far from Istanbul, Turkey's vibrant metropolis, and is known as the "Pearl of the Marmara". Here, in a region with an optimal climate and ideal conditions for viticulture, high-quality spirits are produced that are appreciated far beyond the country's borders.

Only the finest Turkish aniseed and 100% fresh, hand-picked grapes are used in the production of Tekirdag Rakisi No. 10. Using traditional methods, the raki is carefully distilled in copper kettles, giving it exceptional purity and aromatic depth. The fine drop then matures for several months in oak barrels to develop its unmistakable, soft character and complex flavours.

This special ageing process makes it an absolute highlight for raki lovers and connoisseurs of sophisticated spirits.

Tasting Note

Colour: Crystal clear; milky white when diluted with water.

Nose: Dominant aniseed notes, accompanied by subtle herbal aromas and fruity nuances of fresh grapes.

Flavour: Velvety-soft and intense, characterised by strong aniseed, complemented by fine herbal spice and subtle grape sweetness.

Finish: Mild, long-lasting and harmonious, with an elegant sweetness and pleasant freshness.

Ideal at a temperature between 8 and 10 degrees Celsius, it harmonises perfectly with Mediterranean starters (meze), fresh seafood, fish dishes and grilled vegetables. It complements traditional Turkish specialities such as grilled octopus, spicy goat's cheese or aubergine dishes particularly well. Alternatively, it can also be enjoyed on its own, well chilled.
