The G. Rozelierures family business is now in its 5th generation. The family has been producing high-quality spirits for more than 150 years. The barley used for the production is grown by them themselves. Another speciality is that G. Rozelieures is the only company in France that works with peated malt.

The G. Rozelieures Subtil is made with non-smoky malt from the distillery family's own grain. After malting and a fairly short fermentation, double distillation takes place in the Charentais distillery. The subsequent maturation takes place in ex-Cognac barrels, ex-Bourbon barrels and new barrels from the Vosges. This whisky is characterised by its fruitiness and lightness.

Tasting Note

Colour: Straw gold.

Nose: Fruity, quinces, pears, hints of cereals, woody aromas.

Flavour: Pleasantly spicy, fresh, notes of dried summer fruits, vanilla.

Finish: Langs, dry malt, hints of Ingwerer.
