It is based on rum made from sugar cane molasses from the Philippine island of Negros, which is refined with selected spices after distillation. The name Masskara refers to the famous, colourful Masskara Festival, which is celebrated every year on the fourth Sunday in October in the Philippines and stands for joie de vivre, music and exuberance. It is precisely this mood that is reflected in the style of this rum-based spirit, which combines fruity sweetness with exotic spice. Don Papa Masskara is produced by Don Papa Rum and is aimed at connoisseurs who prefer aromatic spiced rums.
