Tasting Note

Colour: Dark amber with warm golden reflections.

Nose: Complex aromas of dried fruit, sultanas, caramel, accompanied by a fine sherry spice and oak notes that perfectly reflect the sherry cask maturation.

Flavour: Soft and full-bodied with ripe fruit, chocolaty toffee, spices such as cinnamon and cloves as well as an oak note that gives the whisky a subtle depth. The sherry cask flavours harmonise perfectly with the spice and sweetness.

Finish: Long-lasting, warm and harmonious with a lingering oak and caramel note and a hint of sherry that unfolds elegantly in the mouth.

The Kujira Ryukyu 12 Years Old Sherry Cask Whisky is perfect for drinking neat to fully experience the complex flavours and sherry cask notes. Ideal served at room temperature or with a drop of water to open up the flavours.
