The Tobermory 23 Years Old Oloroso Cask Finish is an exclusive island single malt Scotch whisky, bottled at 46.3 per cent in a 0.7-litre bottle and presented in a high-quality gift box. As the first release in the multi-award-winning Hebridean Series, this exceptional whisky pays tribute to the picturesque harbour town of Tobermory on the Isle of Mull. The colourful houses lining the harbour are symbolically reflected in the warm amber tones of this limited edition. The whisky was initially matured in ex-bourbon casks before being finished for a further eight years in selected González Byass Oloroso sherry casks. This total maturation period of 23 years results in an exceptionally complex whisky that combines the island’s maritime heritage with the elegance of a long sherry cask ageing.

Tasting Note

Colour: Deep rose gold.

Nose: Vanilla, ripe oranges, roasted barley, spiced fruit cake and subtle hints of cocoa.

Palate: Salty toffee, vanilla fudge, spiced oak, candied citrus fruits and floral honey.

Finish: Long-lasting with caramelised walnuts and a subtle salty sea note.
