Dellavalle Grappa Moscato Gran Cuvée is an exquisite grappa from the renowned Distilleria Dellavalle, located in the picturesque Piedmont region of Italy. Since it was founded in 1983 by oenologist Roberto Dellavalle, the distillery has specialised in the production of monovitigno grappa, using only pomace from a single grape variety.

Fresh pomace from the Moscato grape is carefully selected for this special grappa. Distillation takes place in traditional, discontinuous stills, which ensures gentle processing and preserves the characteristic flavours of the grape. The grappa then matures for at least 18 months in new oak barrels, which gives it its harmonious structure and depth.

With an alcohol content of 42% vol., this fine drop is presented in an elegant 0.7-litre bottle.

Tasting Note

Colour: Golden.

Nose: Intense aromas of muscatel grapes, accompanied by floral notes and a hint of honey.

Flavour: Soft and round with a pleasant sweetness reminiscent of ripe fruit, complemented by a fine spiciness.

Finish: Long-lasting and elegant with a subtle almond note.

To enjoy the full flavour spectrum of Dellavalle Grappa Moscato Gran Cuvée, it is recommended to serve it at a temperature of around 16-18°C in a tulip-shaped glass. The grappa should be allowed to breathe for a few minutes before drinking so that the flavours can develop optimally.

This grappa is ideal as a digestif after a fine meal and harmonises particularly well with desserts such as lemon tart, panna cotta or fresh fruit salad. It also unfolds its full potential in combination with mild goat's cheese or white chocolate. Creative connoisseurs can use grappa in cocktails or as an aromatic component in fine cuisine.
