Ojo de Tigre Mezcal Artesanal Reposado is an exquisite artisanal mezcal produced using traditional methods. With an alcohol content of 37% vol. and bottled in a 0.7-litre bottle, this mezcal combines the highest quality with authentic Mexican distillation skills. Its name, "Eye of the Tiger", symbolises strength, elegance and the rich cultural heritage of Mexico.

This mezcal is made from 100% agave, using two special agave varieties: Espadín (Agave Angustifolia) from Oaxaca and Tobalá (Agave Potatorum) from Puebla. While the Espadín agave provides soft, fruity notes, the rare Tobalá agave gives the mezcal an unmistakable depth and complexity. After distillation, the Ojo de Tigre Reposado matures for a certain amount of time in oak barrels, which gives it a harmonious balance between smoky, sweet and spicy flavours.

Tasting Note

Colour: Light gold with warm amber reflections.

Nose: Light smoky notes with hints of caramel, vanilla and roasted almonds.

Flavour: Soft and balanced, with a fine blend of sweet agave, delicate wood notes and a hint of honey.

Finish: Pleasantly mild with lingering warmth and a subtle, smoky finish.

Thanks to its mild yet characterful structure, Ojo de Tigre Mezcal Reposado is ideal as a sipping mezcal, served neat or on ice. It adds a particularly elegant note to cocktails - try it in a Mezcal Negroni or a Smoky Margarita. In culinary terms, it harmonises perfectly with grilled meat, spicy tacos or smoked fish. A combination with dark chocolate or roasted nuts also enhances the fine flavours of this mezcal.
