Big Mama 6 Years Old Caribbean Rum PX Finished is a versatile blended rum from the Caribbean, with an alcohol content of 38 per cent, available in a 0.7-litre bottle. For this bottling, selected sugar cane distillates from various Caribbean regions of origin are blended to create a harmonious cuvée. The rum is aged for a total of six years, with the initial ageing taking place in ex-bourbon casks. This ageing phase imparts structure, soft oaky notes and a well-balanced core character. The blend is then further refined in casks that previously held Pedro Ximénez sherry.

The PX Cask Finish adds further depth to the matured rum and a rounder, fruitier profile. The combination of Caribbean rum distillates, bourbon cask maturation and secondary ageing in Pedro Ximénez casks results in an approachable Caribbean rum with a sherry finish, which is suitable both for enjoying neat and for creating premium rum-based drinks.
