Ron Cristóbal is a premium rum brand named after Christopher Columbus and is distilled, fermented and produced in the Dominican Republic by Alcoholes Finos Dominicanos. The company, the largest alcohol producer in the country, harvests its own sugar cane, which ensures that the rum is made exclusively from Dominican plants.

Ron Cristóbal Santa Maria is an exclusive premium rum series known for its limited editions and special ageing processes.

This Santa Maria edition received its second maturation in former Chenin Blanc wine barrels, which gave the rum a particularly refined flavour. Distilled in 2009, this rum was able to develop its flavours in a remarkable way during the Langs ageing process. This exclusive bottling was finally bottled in August 2022 in a limited edition of just 921 bottles.

Tasting Note

Nose: Spicy notes of candied Ingwerer, white pepper.

Palate: Tingling, Ingwerer, peppery notes, dried herbs.

Finish: Langs on the palate.
