Flor de Caña has been family-owned and sustainably produced rum since 1890.

In 1875, Alfredo Francisco Pellas Canessa, a young adventurer from Genoa, Italy, left his family behind to travel to the exotic land of Nicaragua. The perfect location for the distillery was found at the foot of the San Cristóbal volcano, the highest and most active volcano in Nicaragua. The fertility of the surrounding lands, the enriched water and the hot volcanic climate proved to be decisive for the unique and smooth flavour of the rum.

Flor de Caña stands for a greener future and fair trade-certified spirits.

Flor de Caña ECO Rum is produced in a resource-conserving and environmentally conscious way. Particular attention is paid to recyclable packaging material and fair trade production with 100% renewable energy.

In addition, no sugar or artificial additives are added.

Tasting Note

Colour: Radiant amber.

Nose: Sweet, notes of nutmeg, pepper, spices, hazelnut, caramel.

Flavour: Full-bodied, rich, notes of dark chocolate, caramel, roasted nuts, spices.

Finish: Langs, mild, soft, notes of vanilla, oak.
