Herradura Tequila Ultra Añejo 100% de Agave is an exceptional tequila characterised by its long ageing process and outstanding craftsmanship. Produced by the Herradura Distillery in Amatitán, Mexico, this Ultra Añejo is the result of years of experience and tradition in tequila production.

What makes this tequila special is its long maturation: it is aged for 49 months in Finnish oak barrels and bourbon barrels. This long barrel ageing gives the tequila its complex flavours of vanilla, caramel and toasted wood, while the natural sweetness of the 100% blue Weber agave is perfectly accentuated. Bottled at 40% vol., the tequila has a velvety smooth and round flavour, ideal for connoisseurs who want to experience the full depth of a high-quality añejo tequila.

Tasting Note

Colour: Deep gold with amber reflections.

Nose: Rich aromas of vanilla, caramel, roasted nuts and a hint of cinnamon.

Flavour: Full-bodied and smooth with notes of dried fruit, dark chocolate, mild oak and a subtle sweetness of agave.

Finish: Long-lasting and velvety with a harmonious blend of sweetness, spice and wood.

The Herradura Ultra Añejo is ideal for drinking straight, preferably in a tumbler at room temperature, to enjoy its complex flavours.
