The name MacNamara, derived from Gaelic and meaning "son of the sea", reflects the connection to the coast, wind and salty air, which is subtly reflected in the character of this whisky.

This blended Scotch whisky is based on carefully selected malt and grain whiskies, which are given an additional Madeira cask finish after blending. This cask finish gives the whisky a fine fruitiness, gentle sweetness and additional depth without overpowering the balance of the blend. Bottled at 40 %, the MacNamara Madeira Cask Finish is soft, round and harmonious.
