The Kavalan Concertmaster Port Cask Finish Single Malt Whisky 40% Vol. 0.7 l + GB with 2x0.05 l miniatures is an elegant gift edition of the popular Taiwanese single malt that combines craftsmanship, exoticism and elegance. This whisky is produced at the renowned Kavalan Distillery in north-east Taiwan - the country's first whisky distillery to achieve international renown. Only pure spring water from the nearby snow-capped mountains is used for production, which gives the whisky its exceptional purity and smoothness.


The Concertmaster is regarded as the further development of the classic Kavalan single malt and, after maturing in a combination of fresh and refill bourbon casks and sherry casks, is given a finish of around six months in selected port casks. This post-maturing gives it its characteristic fruitiness, creamy texture and harmonious sweetness. The combination of tropical climate, high-quality casks and traditional distilling techniques creates a whisky of impressive depth and balance.
