This exceptional single malt is bottled by Signatory Vintage, an independent bottler known for its uncompromising quality and careful cask selection. Each bottling in the Symington's Choice series is personally selected by Andrew Symington, the founder of Signatory Vintage, and reflects the highest level of craftsmanship.

This single malt was first matured in traditional oak casks before being carefully finished in a Pedro Ximénez (PX) sherry hogshead. This post-maturing process gives the whisky additional depth, intense sweetness and complex flavours typical of sherry cask maturation. Maturation over 16 years, combined with the finish in PX hogsheads, gives the Auchroisk a distinctive profile full of fruitiness, spice and fine wood flavours.

With a strong alcohol content of 57.9% vol., the whisky is bottled at natural cask strength. It is neither chill-filtered nor coloured, which means that its natural variety of flavours is fully preserved. The elegant presentation in a classic tin box emphasises the high-quality character of this limited edition bottling and makes it particularly interesting for collectors and discerning connoisseurs.

Tasting Note

Colour: Deep mahogany.

Nose: Dark dried fruit, sultanas, toffee and fine oak spice.
