Villa Sandi Il Fresco Prosecco Rosé Millesimato DOC 2024 11% in a 0.75 l bottle combines the freshness of a classic Prosecco with the elegance of a rosé sparkling wine and represents the modern side of Italian sparkling wine culture. For this cuvée, the renowned Villa Sandi winery relies on the perfect blend of Glera and Pinot Nero, resulting in a harmonious and expressive Prosecco Rosé DOC Millesimato.


The grapes come from selected vineyards in Veneto and Friuli-Venezia Giulia, where the limestone- and marl-rich alluvial soils provide ideal conditions for high-quality sparkling wines. The white Glera grapes are gently pressed and vinified under temperature-controlled conditions. The Pinot Nero is processed separately, with gentle maceration ensuring the characteristic rosé colour and additional aromatic depth. Both wines are then blended into a cuvée and undergo a second fermentation. This takes place at controlled temperatures of 15 to 16 °C to optimally preserve the natural fruit aromas. After at least two months’ ageing on the lees, the sparkling wine develops its fine perlage and balanced structure. With its moderate alcohol content of 11%, a residual sugar content of 10 g/l and its lively freshness, this Italian Prosecco Rosé is ideal for a wide range of occasions.
