Zwack Unicum Barista 34.5% vol. 0.7 l is a modern interpretation of the Hungarian national drink Unicum, which combines the classic herbal liqueur with a fine coffee flavour. It is produced in the traditional Zwack Distillery in Budapest, which has been known for its secret herbal recipes since 1790 and is now run by the sixth generation of the Zwack family.


For the Unicum Barista, the base of over 40 herbs, roots and Werder is retained as in the classic Unicum. These are first macerated in alcohol and then stored in oak barrels to develop their typical bitterness and flavour. The liqueur is then refined with Italian Arabica coffee, which adds an elegant roasted note, hints of chocolate and velvety depth to the flavour profile. At 34.5% vol., it is slightly lighter than the original, but remains intense and multi-layered.
