Only the Agave Angustifolia Espadín is used for production - one of the finest agave varieties, which finds ideal growing conditions in the high altitudes of Oaxaca. After distillation, the mezcal matures for two years in French oak barrels, which gives it its depth, complexity and the refined notes of the wood. It is then carefully filtered, giving the mezcal its clear, brilliant colour while retaining a smooth, multi-layered flavour profile. The result is a Cristalino-style mezcal that impressively emphasises the aromatic purity and natural profile of the Espadín agave.


With 40 per cent alcohol by volume, the Zignum Añejo Cristalino is balanced, elegant and exceptionally mild. Its character combines the typical smoky notes of a mezcal with fine wood, vanilla and fruit flavours, which are the result of maturation in French oak. Tasting Note

Colour: Crystal clear with a light silver sheen.

Nose: Subtle wood notes, vanilla, caramel and a hint of tropical fruit, accompanied by a fine agave flavour.

Flavour: Soft and round with gentle smoky notes, vanilla, honey and delicate spice from French oak.

Finish: Langs, mild and elegant with a fine balance of wood, smoke and agave sweetness.
